Parents: You many wish to have your students work on math facts through the summer. Just reviewing them once or twice a week with flashcards would be helpful. I can also give them copies of the timed math sheets if they would like to practice. Seventh grade math is a big jump since it is pre-algebra. For this reason it is very important that they be strong in basic math facts. They all have made such growth in this area over the year, and I am so proud of them! Keep up the hard work. It would also be a good idea for them to read a couple books over the summer. These are just suggestions that might be helpful to keep their brains going over the summer, and help them be ready for 7th grade in August.

Blessings for a great summer! I have enjoyed working with all of you.

God bless you,

Miss Pedrozo
