More updates for this week.....

We will probably have lots of updates during the coming weeks, as it seems that this time of year always gets very busy!

Mrs. Crawford has asked me to let 6th grade parents know that there is still time to order a camp scrapbook.  Notes went home several weeks ago.  The book is the 6th grade auction item.  The profit from all books sold will be the 6th grade donation to the school for the auction.  She is hoping to bring in a book to show the class.  Each student has his/her own page.  The books sell for $125.  If you would like to order a book, but are unable to pay the $125 at this time.  Please let Mrs. Crawford know, and she would be happy to arrange for you to make payments.  All orders must be turned in by this Friday, April 12.

Stand Up 2 Cancer Party
Thank you so much to the 4 students who have already brought back their notes, and to the parents who have volunteered to help.  If you have not seen the note, please ask your child for it.  Also, we are very much in need of 2 or 3 parents to fill balloons at 11:30 on April 26.  Please indicate on the note if you are able to help in this way!  You will get service hours for your time.

Updates for this week....

Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9 there will be free dress for those students whose parents attended the State of the School Address on March 26.  These students received a free dress slip before vacation.

Friday, April 12 will be our Mini Relay for Life at school.  Appropriate purple free dress or Relay for Life shirts may be worn for $1.00.  Money will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

A note about our Stand Up 2 Cancer party is being sent out today April 8.  Please ask your child for this note and sign up to help either by providing cookies or punch or by helping at the party or with filling balloons.  With everyone's help, I know we will have a great event!  The students have been very busy working on bookmarks and bracelets to give our guests as party favors. Thank you so much to those who have already offered to help.  Please still fill out the form so that I can keep track of who is doing what.  Thank you also to Mrs. Pilkington for providing the paper products.

Thank you,
Mrs. Lorenzi
