Attention 6th grade parents: Research reports are due this Tuesday, March 17...only 3 students turned them in early for extra credit. This means that most students should be bringing them on Tuesday. We have spent a great deal of class time working on these, and they will be worth a lot of points in their English grades. At OLM, it is required for students to complete research papers in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. This is an important component of our junior high language arts curriculum and a skill they will need in high school and college. Please reinforce the importance of learning this process and of turning this in on time. All papers should include a title page, the research paper itself (3-5 pages typed, double-spaced, 12 font, including in-text citations), and a works cited page.
