Progress reports:  I will not be sending home the usual weekly progress reports on Monday for 2 reasons.  1) There is no school on Monday.  2) The official school progress reports (which count for sports eligibility) will be sent home to all students on Friday, Sept. 11.  I will be updating grades on option c, please check grades there to look for missing work.
____________________________________
October Mass:  The 6th grade and kindergarten classes will be planning the October Mass which will be the Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis.  I will be collecting pet pictures (or pictures of the pets with the students) to use on our class poster.  This poster will be brought up during the offertory at Mass.  Please send in your pet pictures by Friday, Sept. 11.
______________________________________________
Camp forms were sent home and should be returned as soon as possible.  We need all forms by September 25th.  Please note, if your child takes any medication (even tylenol) you must have a signed doctor's note.  This can sometimes take a few days, so it would be best to get the form to your doctor ASAP.  Please also remember to attach a copy of both sides of your child's medical card.

Drivers:  We will be going to visit the elderly at Brookdale (formerly Emeritus) and the Hampshire for a prayer service on Friday, September 11.  I have the following parents scheduled to drive:

Mrs. Rose
Mrs. Diaz
Mrs. Waterman
Mrs. Mendonca

Thank you so much for signing up to drive.  We are in need of one more driver.  If you are fingerprinted, safe environment trained, and available to drive on that day...please let Mrs. Lorenzi know.

Pancake breakfast tickets were sent home with the 6th graders on Thursday, September 2.  If you have not received yours, please check with your child.  Each 6th grader is responsible for 15 tickets.  This fundraiser goes toward the cost of camp.  All families who participate will benefit.  If you choose not to participate in this fundraiser, you will be expected to pay the entire $260 fee for camp.
