Welcome to 6th grade!

August 15-19

Welcome back!  We are off to a great start!  I am so proud of the 6th graders.  They are adjusting well and are doing such a great job with all of the new routines of junior high.

New equipment:  The new equipment is AWESOME!  We have already used it a great deal.  Each classroom has a projector and a document camera.  If you see Mrs. Blackburn, please thank her for these additions.  They are making such a positive difference in the learning environment!

Homework help;  This will begin on August 15. It is 2:30-3:30PM.  Please be prompt in picking up your child, as the teachers sometimes have appointments scheduled following homework help.  Students who are not picked up on time will be sent to extended care, and a fee will be assessed.  Sixth grade homework help will be in Mrs. Wennberg's room on Mondays and Wednesdays and in Mrs. Lorenzi's room on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  There is NO homework help on Fridays.

Attention:  There will be no homework help this Thursday, August 18. The teachers have a training for the new standardized testing program.
