Missing Work: There has been more missing work lately. Please realize that even though credit is not given for late work in junior high, it is still important to complete all work and turn it in. If a student misses work, he/she will not be prepared for the work and tests that follow. The work assigned is done to teach and reinforce skills that will be needed later. Sometimes they are very important skills that students will need to master for high school. Parents, if you see missing work on your child's progress report, please have them do the work as soon as possible and turn it in. It will not receive credit, but your child will learn skills that will help him/her on future assignments and tests. Please use the weekly progress reports as a tool to keep updated on work. Lately, it seems as though a great deal of missing work is listed on progress reports. The progress reports come back signed, but the missing work does not come it with it. If we work together on this matter, our students benefit.
