Absences:  Please remind your child that if he/she is absent, it is his/her responsibility to check with teachers and get the make up work.  Also, they get one day for every day of absence in order to turn in their make up work.  Lately we have had the problem of students turning in absent work well beyond the time allowed.  Unless other arrangements have been made with the teacher, they are given one extra day for every day absent.  Beyond that, the work will be considered late, and will not receive credit.  This is the policy in junior high.  Thank you for your help in teaching the students to be reponsible citizens.

Stand Up 2 Cancer Party.......We need your help!!!  On April 26, our class will be hosting a celebration for cancer survivors.  Please give me names of anyone you would like invited.  Also, I will need parents to help with this event.  It will be from  1 to 2:20 PM in the auditorium.  We will also need refreshments.  Please email me if you can bake or bring punch, paper products, or other goodies.  You can also earn hours for helping with this wonderful event.
