Update for the last week of school...
Monday--holiday
Tuesday--regular classes...no homework help!
Wednesday- Clean up day--Each 6th grade student will need to bring 6 brown paper (grocery bags) on clean up day...Wednesday, May 28. These will be used to cover books. If you can bring a few extras, please do so. Usually, Save Mart is great about giving these out if you let them know that we are using them for book covers.
Thursday-Field day--We are in need of parent volunteers for field day 10:00 AM - noon on Thursday, May 29. We need 4-6 volunteers. So far, we have one. If we do not get enough help, we will not be able to play games on this day. This is a great opportunity for those who still need service hours. Please consider helping us on this day!
Friday-Mass, distribution of report cards, and dismissal at 10:00
Thank you for a great year. I wish you a happy and relaxing summer full of God's blessings!

Update for the week of May 19
With the end of school next week, there are some important updates to give you.
Carnival: The carnival is this Friday, May 23. Students who have missing work will not be allowed to attend the carnival. The students have known about this for a couple of weeks. All 6th graders were given a current list of missing work on Monday, May 19. Also, they have been working on missing work at recess. Parents, please encourage your student to do their missing work. We want everyone to have fun at the carnival, but it is important to learn that in order to enjoy the fun events in life, we must also be responsible and accountable for our work. We know that teaching these skills is one of the reasons you as parents value an OLM education. If we work together, I'm sure we can get all students caught up academically and enjoying a fun carnival on Friday.
